A christening is one of the first big days in a little person's life, and the gift is often remembered long after the day is over. Everything is designed and sewn in Denmark at our own studio in Randers, in small runs and from carefully selected European materials. We keep the selection deliberately small, so you're not choosing between sixty items, but between a handful we'd give ourselves.

Gifts from a small dummy clip to complete sets

There's a big difference between what a godmother, an aunt and a colleague give — and there should be room for that. Our selection covers the whole range: a dummy clip or a scarf is the fine, small gift that wraps beautifully; a bib is a lovely everyday present; and if the gift should be a little bigger, a bib set, a duvet cover or a complete three-piece gift set makes a considered choice. A full set costs less than the pieces separately, so you get a thoughtful gift without having to put it together yourself.

Gifts that fit – whatever the baby's size

The biggest uncertainty with a christening gift is usually size. You rarely know how big the baby is now, let alone what will fit in three months. That's why most of the selection here is completely size-free: scarves, bibs, dummy clips and duvet covers fit whatever size the baby is, and they're used from day one. If you do choose clothing in sizes, you can safely go a size up — our styles are sewn with plenty of room, and a pair of trousers the child grows into by autumn is rarely a bad gift.

Outfits for the day itself

For the day itself, it's all about the soft and the simple: clothing that feels good against the skin, looks beautiful in the photos and doesn't take over. A pair of trousers in a calm, muted colour combined with a scarf from the same series gives a festive but understated look that suits both the child and the rest of the gathering. Because everything is sewn in natural materials, the clothing can be worn afterwards in everyday life — it's not an outfit put away after a single day.
